🤐 Grief nobody acknowledges

Pets, ex-partners, miscarriage, friends, dreams.

Disenfranchised grief is grief the world doesn't make space for: a pet, an ex, a friend, a pregnancy nobody knew about, a coworker, a person you loved who wasn't officially yours to love.

The pain is unchanged. The support is missing. That gap is its own second injury.

You don't need anyone's permission for the size of your grief. If it hurts this much, the attachment was real.

Find the one person, forum, or group that treats it as legitimate. One is enough to stop the isolation.
