Everything hurts

Love never wasted

Grief exists because love existed. The pain doesn't erase the love — it measures it.

Healing isn't leaving someone behind. It's learning to carry both the love and the loss at once.

Grief isn't linear.

There are no stages you pass and finish. You'll circle back, and that isn't backwards.

There are many kinds of grief.

Death, endings, diagnoses, distance, futures that won't happen. All of them count.

It's okay to laugh while grieving.

Joy isn't betrayal. Your laughter doesn't cancel your love.

Anniversaries can be hard.

Bodies remember dates. Plan gently around them and expect less of yourself.

Healing doesn't mean forgetting.

It means the memory takes up a different kind of space — one you can carry.

Love and grief grow from the same root.

You are not grieving because something went wrong. You're grieving because something went right.

None of this was wasted. 💜
