Grief after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss is often minimised — “at least it was early”, “you can try again”. Neither sentence is about your actual loss.
You were already in a relationship with that child: names, plans, an imagined room. Losing that is losing something real.
Physical recovery and hormonal changes run alongside the grief, which makes everything louder. Be gentler than seems reasonable.
Rituals help where there was no funeral: a name, a candle, a planted tree, a date each year that's yours.
